Hello,
I have two plants and this has never happened. An order was created and released to Plant A in order sales entry. however the order was shipped from plant B through customer shipment entry. How is this even possible? anyone experienced this before?
we are on vantage 8.03.409C

Thanks
Jose
Is it possible to close an orde out through customer shipemnt entry even though is released to a different plant than the one you are currently sign on to? I can close all my orders from a different plant even though it wasnt released to that plant.

I am panicking, Epicor is going to test.

Hi

The order are never assigned to one plant in particular. Its just in the
release tab of the sale order you can see in which table they are
assigned. But there is nothing that make them unable to been shipped by
the other plant in customer shipment entry.

But, maybe the parts shipped were assigned, as primary warehouse in the
good plant. If it is then, the part will be backflush from the good plant
anyway. No matter from which plant you ship that.
