Schedule Board crashing

We recently switched email programs from Outlook to Google mail, so maybe something happened to those in the conversion. I will go back to my outlook and get the originals and re-send.

We run Epicor ERP 905.702, 64 bit, Progress DB. The database started it's life as a Vantage version 4 (maybe 3) Progress DB and has been converted, and converted and converted.

When we moved from Version 6 to Version 905 are scheduler would once in awhile crash in the schedule board, but the last few weeks it's crashing on her randomly but 3 or 4 times an hour. Prior it would be 1 or 2 times a month if even that. Since I'm not overly versed in what she does I'm currently waiting for her to have time to spend with me on the phone with Epicor support but thought I toss the issue out to the group to see if anyone had any ideas.

Only recent changes are we add 6 new machines in the shop which I'm assuming where added as resources in Epicor. I'm having someone check to see if that might have been done wrong. Otherwise no other changes to Epicor or computers.

What I think she is doing is going into schedule board and then moving jobs from one resource to another resource. She only does this on Wednesday and Epicor only crashed for her on Wednesdays. Doesn't happen every time she moves a job, and there doesn't seem to be any common resource or part that causes the crash. After the crash she has to go to task manager and force Epicor to close. She then logs back in and can move the job that caused the crash without issue.

Anyone else run into this?

When we first upgraded to 9.05 (coming from Vantage 5.2) we had some issues in the scheduling board also - with it crashing. For us, Epicor support sent me some documentation on limitations of the scheduling. Once we started following those we have not had any other issues. It basically had to do with the way we were routing the jobs that was causing the issues (in job entry on the actual operation and operation details). LMK if you want me to try to dig up those documents...

We're experiencing this same issue--I'd love to see the documentation you're referring to, to see if we could mitigate the issue.
If you can easily find it that would be great. Don't waste to much time looking. I can see if support has something.
The docs were large - emailed to you both off-list. It was about a year ago so not sure if the problem was exactly the same as what you are having. We had a few different issues related to scheduling.

Thanks for sending that but what ever the attachments are I can't open them. They are all 26 byte files with no extension. Changed one file to txt but it had nothing when I opened it.
