Okay, the server config on your DB server should be a RAID 1+0 , stay away from RAID 5. Your RAM count is a bit low. You may experience a bit of lag. Let us kow how many users you will have using Vantage.

You are using Server 2003 as the operating system on the Vantage server right, not SBS?

As far as what the server will be, file is fine. Just don't make it a BDC (Backup Domain Controller) by puting DNS or WINS on it. I think that's obvious, LOL.
