Should MRP still process parts not ticked for process MRP?

We are on Kinetic 2021.1.17 and have an issue with a particular part not batching correctly.

So I restored the DB to pilot and to make testing quicker used DMT to untick Process MRP for only a couple of parts.

When looking at the log file I was surprised to see it is still processing every part.

Is this correct or do I need to change something other than the process MRP tick box under Part>Site

Make sure ‘Generate PO Suggestions’ is disabled too. The MRP Process runs both Job and PO Suggestions.

Thanks, Rick I will try that.

A lot of the parts are manufactured but have PO suggestions ticked but greyed out.

I will report back.

Hi Rick

You were right it was PO suggestions even if the part is a manufactured part.

You need to untick both. To untick PO suggestions it has to be set to a purchased part first and then set back to manufactured.
