Coming Soon: Next-Gen Reporting in Epicor Kinetic
We are excited to announce that Epicor is planning the next evolution of reporting in Kinetic. As part of this effort, during 2026 releases we will be moving beyond SSRS to a modern, more flexible reporting solution powered by BoldReports® from Syncfusion®.
BoldReports® is designed to work with the familiar RDL format, which means that most standard and customized reports can be carried forward with minimal or no changes. This helps protect your prior investments while ensuring minimal disruption to your business as we transition. At the same time, it opens the door to faster, more user-friendly, and secure reporting capabilities.
In addition, BoldReports® offers native support for printing barcodes and QR codes — a capability many of our customers have requested to simplify labeling, tracking, and shop floor operations.
As part of this transition, the licensing for Syncfusion® will eventually replace SSRS on a like-for-like basis, ensuring continuity and simplicity for customers as the platform evolves.
Over the coming months, we will share more details about timelines, transition planning, and opportunities to preview the new reporting experience. Our goal is to make this a smooth, low-impact, and beneficial shift for your business.
