I have a job for a FG which covers demand through June. The system is still planning for a sales order in March but I cover it with my 1,200 pc job. Any ideas why it is doing this and how to prevent this ? See screenshot below of time phase. Thank You.
Have you tried running MRP on regenerative?
Is your sales order set to make direct?
We run regen every night.
Sales orders are not make direct. All of our sales orders are make to stock.
I think I’ve seen some cases where the MRP “Suggestions” (reduce qty etc.) can muck up the suggested un-firm job quantities. For instance, MRP is suggesting you reduce the qty for your firm job, and suggesting more jobs out in the future. Are your jobs set to “locked qty”? Can you check the “Suggestions” box and send a snip of the new grid?
The job is not locked.
Ok, looks like that’s the issue then. Lock the job, re-run MRP on regen, and that SHOULD fix it.
That top one in the quantities section will do the trick!
