Kinetic 2023.2 System Agent Failing

I’m testing the upgrade in Pilot. The task agent keeps stopping about every 24 - 36 hours. The system agent says it is still running but jobs are just going to scheduled status. Epicor doesn’t seem to want to look at the underlying problem, rather just restart the agent when I complain. Is anybody else having a similar issue? We are with the Australian data centre. 2023.1.X Update Post Mortem and PSA Regarding Performance (and how to fix it)

So Monday of last week we went live with a jump from 2021 to 2023.1.9 The upgrade process itself was fine there were some minor issues particularly around PCID where a bunch of new features were added that caused some headaches but overall it was a clean and easy upgrade. However immediately we noticed everything was running rather sluggish and we blamed SQL per usual, did some index maintenance , statistics etc and moved on with our lives.
