Termination in UBAQ

10.1.600.37

I’m made a simple UBAQ Dashboard to help HR manage employee termination.

It lists the Employee ID, Name and Status.

When I try to update “A” to “T”, I get an error.

Other employees that have been terminated show as “T” . I don’t understand what is wrong.

What error do you get?

(Man, must be bad turnover if you need a UBAQ to terminate employees faster :scream:)

The line turns red and doesn’t save. That’s what showing in the screen shot.

Setting a terminated employee to “A” saves just fine. The UBAQ works, just not with “T”???

If you hover over the red line it will show the error. I’m willing to bet it says T isn’t a valid status and you don’t have the Payroll Module licensed. When we migrated from Epicor 9 to 10, we had to stop using T and start using I (Inactive) for termed employees.

I guess you’re right. We’ve upgraded and have code written against “T” for EmployeeStatus.
We have most of the terminated employees with “T”. This sucks…

You may want to try “I”. According to Field Help, A = Active and I = Inactive. There is a note that states, “The Terminated (T) status is not available as a status in Employee Maintenance. This is a setting that is used only in Payroll Employee Maintenance.”

So if you don’t have the Payroll module, then you can only use A and I.
