They call me the workin' man

MES question (8.03.305)

What do people do when workers work on multiple jobs with varied quantities?
For example, the assembly department will group orders by like-size but one
order is for two, one is for one, and one is for ten. (I'm told that there is
a lot of commonality and that it is faster to build them this way. Can't fight
the batch mentality battle today...) If they log into MES on each job, the
labor will be split equally among each logged-in job but obviously the job of
ten will have taken more time than the others.

Any thoughts on how to handle such a situation?

Thanks,

Mark W.
