Upgrade to 8.03.305 to 8.03.400 & Upgrading to New Server

I would copy your 305 DB and do your conversions on your new machine.
This way you only have to install 10.1B and the service pack once. Plus
you won't have to deal with and 10.0 an d 10.1 issues. And, if
something were to go wrong you'd have an easy functional back-up.

I m running into 2 Upgrade Hardware as well as Epicor Upgrade to 400.
wanted to know which part whould I go for first.

shall I first upgrade HArdware running 305 and then upgrade to 400 on
new server.
OR
upgrade 305 to 400 on my old server and install fresh 400 on new server
and take my database to New machine.

I would really appreciate any suggestion or advice.

Unless someone else on this list has a reason not to, I would upgrade to
400 on your old server and do a fresh install of 400 on your new server.

I've never had problems with upgrading, but why "muddy up" your new
server with 305.
