Use SQL to Automatically Jumpstart Stalled Print Services - Insi

I was unable to attend the Insight class "Use SQL to Automatically Jumpstart Your Stalled Epicor Print Services'

Does anyone know how to do this or goto the class.

Thanks

Justin
Karen is active on the list and she can give you more insight. But
basically you write a SQL script to check the SysTask table for "Immediate
Run Requests" and if it hits a treshold say 10-15 then you run a script to
restart the Task and Agent App Servers.

Yes, Justin emailed me direct (I don't always check the Yahoo emails in the evening) - I sent him the information. Also, someone gave feedback after my session that this could probably be done with a BPM too - I have not explored that option, but it sounds like it would be a great option.

If anyone gets a similar error - The select list for the INSERT statement contains fewer items than the insert list. The number of SELECT values must match the number of INSERT columns. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 120)...

This is cut off in my screen shot...

SELECT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP AS Date, COUNT(agentschednum) AS CountImmed, MIN(scheddesc) AS SchedType

There are three items in the select statement and also three columns in the CountImmed table...

The screen picture select statement only has two columns and then does not match the number required by CountImmed table.

You need to add " , MIN(scheddesc) AS SchedType "

FYI,
Karen

Hi Karen,
Could you spare some of your valuable time and help me out? So i got all three steps working. Now the only problem i have is that its not working automatically. I dont know if you have the SQL and vantage in the same server so that might be the problem but we have the SQL and Vantage app servers in two different servers.

So on the stored procedure i see the SQL statement has a different name from the fisrt two batch files on the pdf file you sent me. is that a different batch file stored in the SQL server from the two batch files in the epicor server?

thanks for all your help and time.

Jose
