Users

Most of the time I use ProMon at the server console and use option 8 because
I am most likely going to disconnect a session anyway. A tip - often
someone will be in a entry screen and their PC crashes so that when the
reconnects the earlier session is still locking the record. Get the session
id from the lock message (on our system always something in the range 1975
to 2005) and use this to determine which session to disconnect using ProMon
#8. As far as logged to network in but not in Vantage there are NT screens
to show network logins.

Elementary-type question...sorry! ;) New user! ;)

How do you find out which users are logged onto the system....short of
running around to everyone's terminal to check status? Our legacy system is
UNIX-based and I can do a simple command to find out who's logged on. Is
there any way to do that with Epicor???? Thanks, all!

On versions 4.0 or earlier, the only way I know of is to go to the server
and open PROMON and select number 1 to view all users connected. This list
is all Preogress users (Vantage, Report Builder, etc.)
In 5.0 you can go to System Management - Utilities - Connected Users
