V8.03 - Can't make changes to the Company Config!

I had this problem and finally got it resolved. There are 5 files that you will you need.

Copy these files into the [Deployment Folder]\Client directory:

Epicor.Mfg.BO.Company.dll

Epicor.Mfg.IF.ICompany.dll

Copy these files into the [Deployment Folder]\Server\bo directory:

Company.r

Company.i

Company_ds.i

After you do this then copy the client folder from the server to the desktop client folder on the workstation. This will fix that desktop only. If you want it to work on every desktop then you will need to copy that folder to each workstation. Support said the next patch will fix this issue but for now that is the fix I got and it did work.

There are 5 files support will need to send you depending on the version
8.03 you are running.

These 5 files fixed the system so we could do Company maintenance on the
server but not on the client computers.

Support is still looking on the client side problem. Having the
server work was a good enough us to continue.

Subject: [Vantage] V8.03 - Can't make changes to the Company Config!

Hello,

We were talking a last look at the Company Configuration in preparation
of our Go-Live on January 2nd.

We wanted to make changes to the start numbers for Sales Orders and Pack
Slips but when I go to save the changes I get the error message below.

It looks like any change to the Company Config generates this same error
message.

Of course tech support is closed today so does anyone have any ideas?
