The MES users can only see the screens if the MES session uses my user name not the generic ones we created. I gave the generic ones full security access and they still do not work.

If a you clock into normal Epicor as one of the generic MES logins, are you able
to view the screens in question?
In Shop Employee Maintence you need to have things like 'Production Worker',
'Request Material', 'Report Quantity', 'Report Scrap Quantity' ticked. These are
the ones we have ticked for 95% of shopfloor employees. Supervisors get extra
ticks.

Thanks, I understand the employee settings, after hunting around initially, but
the buttons are active (the ones I expect to) when I am the MES login user. When
I use the Data collection user name they do not work. Under both conditions I
try to clock in using the same employee number. Once again, with my login it
works, data collection login it does not. I cannot find any security settings
that are different for the login names.

Many of those buttons are controlled by flags in Shop Employee maintenance.
And some of them require the Advanced Material Management module.
