Vantage 32 bit vs Service Connect 64 bit

Service Connect can be 64 bit even on a 32-bit Vantage/E9 install.

The server OS can be 64 bit for the Vantage server or the Service Connect server even if you're
doing a 32 bit install of the application.

Folks,

We currently run Vantage (8.03.406) in Windows Server 03 32 bit. We are going to be implementing Service Connect 8.3 - will this need to be the 32 bit version as well? What about the server os? I can't find anyting in the documentation.

Michael
Unless something has changed in the last couple of years, Service Connect only
runs on 32 bit Windows for 8.03. I highly recommend running it on a separate
server and not on your Vantage server. You will also need MS SQL because I
believe SC uses it.

You can use SQL Express so you don't need to purchase the whole thing if you don't want to.

ok, great thanks for the info. I'll keep it all 32 bit. I was only asking as Windows 08 64 bit is our standard, but if it needs to be 32 bit then so be it.
