Vantage 6.0 e-mail configuration

Dan

Aaron is right. I'm running Exchange 5.5 and it is port 25. I
created a new user with a mailbox name of Vantage System. In the DS Site
configuration general tab on the exchange server I set the anonymous login
to Vantage System. I then hid them from the users.

Dan,

You determine the exchange server for 6.0 in Company Configuration under
the email configuration button.

You can point it at another server by typing its name in there.

My expectation is that it is using port 25 not 80 as 80 is typically the
web interface and 25 is typically smtp, but that is just typical. I
would not be surprised if 5.5 is configurable in its port usage.

Good luck,

Hello,

I setup up a test machine that I used to migrate from 5.0 to 6.0. How
would
I configure the Vantage e-mail configuration to point at another server
running Exchange 5.5? I am guessing that Exchange is using SMTP port 80,
how
can I confirm this?
