We are taking on inventory from a division of our company that has been
sold. Part of the processing requires capability to salvage materials
and rework them. If I could get them into inventory, rework I can do.
I'm getting an error on Job receipt to salvage:
"Subcontract Salvage Credit Cannot exceed Job Material Subcontract
Cost."
When I look at the costs tab on job receipt to salvage, the numbers
balance. Material has been issued to the job, so the job costs are
there. This whole salvage thing is new to me, so I really don't know
what to look for, here.
Does anyone understand what this means, and how I can get rid of this
error?
Thanks in advance for your help!
