Regarding 8.03.4x... We recently opened an incident with Epicor
Support whether Windows XP SP3 is supported. They replied that SP3
has known printing issues and SP2 is still the recommended version.
See the latest 8.03.400 Hardware and Configuration Sizing Guide dated

times where accounting people (who typically print checks) also have
other applicaitons (like Sage Fixed Assets) that use a stripped down
version of Crystal as a report writer. Uninstalling the Vantage
client and re-installing and then applying the Crystal 8.5 related
patches on the Epicor site has always cleared this up for us. There
are also several Crystal related .dll files that you can try copying
from another PC where checks work (in particular CRPE32.dll) and see
if this helps but it may also break any other application's Crystal
reporting.
