Hello Brian,

I know a very good progress partner in the US, Bravepoint.
You can find them under: www.bravepoint.com
They are a longtime progress partner and sent speakers over years to
the progress conferences all over the world.
The are selling a competitor software (mfg pro), but they also work
on individual progress development, consulting and training.

I can see from the Epicor website they have plenty of training aimed at
users. However I'm in need of some training on running the "back end" of
Vantage 8. I've tried contacting both Progress and Epicor and haven't heard
anything back from either of them.

Does anyone know of any training companies that offer either Vantage
database management or some sort of Progress Openedge DBA training for
version 10?

Brian,

I was just on the progress website last night. They have excellent
documentation. A much faster way to learn in my opinion -- well written
and easy to search on the fly. Many pdf's are over 1000 pages so speed
reading/skimming is required.

You might also look through www.peg.com They host a bunch of mailing
list for Progress techies, and have link pages for 3rd party resources.

I believe there is also a Progress Yahoo Group - but no doubt not nearly as active as this one. ;) Maybe more active than the CorVu group though.
