After you have ODBC configured open Access. Choose New Table, Link
Table. Change Files of Type to ODBC Databases. Choose your Data
Source name. A list of Vantage Tables will appear, choose the ones
you want to connect. Then the tables will appear in Access. After
that I always create a Make Table Query to create an Access Table
from the Linked Table with the fields I want to use, it will improve
performance by not using a live linked table to create reports.
You'll wait a little while the tables are made, but the reports will
run instantly. After I have Access tables for each linked table,
then I create whatever queries and reports I need.
