Vantage Disappears on Win XP Machine

To answer a question with a question...I have noted this on my home computer
with certain programs...typically it's programs that I leave running for a
length of time while I am away from my computer. I come back and poof they
are gone. No error, no message, no nothing. I had attributed it to my
computer, but I am now wondering if this is related.??? I can't even find
anything in the log file about what happened, just suddenly it is like it
was never running.
Anyone else seen anything like this?

We have a Windows XP Pro machine running Vantage 5.1.128 client.
Vantage just disappears without any warning or error message. No time
out utilities are being used. Has anyone else saw this or know what
is causing it?

Stab in the dark:
Did some joker yell "Die Vantage, Die!" while XP's voice command module was
running?
