Windows XP - Vantage Shut Downs

What version of Vantage??

5.1 until saturday then its off to 5.2. Hope it works for us too.

Ben
I have several XP users who have told me their vantage screens just
disappear. They have to re-boot their systems in order to log back
onto the program. Any ideas as to why this occurs and what the "fix"
is for this?

(I'm a new-be at this so take it easy on me)
:)
One thing I would check is the energy saving settings on the screen saver controls. I always set these to "never" because it has caused similar problems for me.

Have already changd those settings, but still doing it.
Is it after about 2 minutes? Vantage automatically logs out when the users
is doing nothing for 2 minutes in the main menu. You can set this value in
the vtg file: VantageLoginTimeout.

What version of Vantage??
I had one XP user that Vantage was disappearing on for no reason. I'm
talking about the session, not the logon screen.
Tech support gave me a VERY long string to put in the command line
for the shortcut. It worked for a while then started again.
We were on 5.1 at the time.
When we went to version 5.2 the problem went away.
