Todd:
Vantage.net is a product that was introduced with the release of 4.0 and in
fact Hydromat had in working with its customer base back on 3.0.
Vantage.net was what I call online Customer Tracker. Your customers could
log into your site track invoices, shipments, packing slips, and even in our
case with some customization we allowed links to both UPS and FedEx for
tracking.
Vantage.net with 5.0 is still active, as well Epicor has introduced the
Storefront. Hydromat has installed the Storefront application and it is
running in a Beta form hitting a test database. Hydromat is also in the
process of modifying the Storefront for our needs.
I am not trying to stir anything up, but for you to go out on the onelist
and tell everyone it does not work at all is not true for everyone only your
case. I have my issues with Epicor, but I choose to address them to Epicor
specifically.
I hope this helps.
Respectfully,

I flat out does not work. I would wait if I were you. I bellied up and
bought it and e-storefront. Neither one of them work and to top it off, no
one at Epicor is willing to support it. I have been trying since November to
get Vantage.net to work. I have to send a flaming e-mail every now and again
and then I will get some lip service and then nothing again until I send
another e-mail. At his point I would advise to not waste your time
particularly with Vantage.net as you could create that functionality with
some fairly basic ASP pages. I am learning the hard way.

Is anyone using vantage.net? We're on 4.0 but have not used it. Are
there any success stories?
