I'll add one more thing to the equation. After doing #4 on Todd's list
below, boot into Safe Mode with Networking and install both Vantage and
Progress. I've had this work when other methods of installation haven't on
trouble stations. If this doesn't work then my last resort is to flatten
the machine and reinstall the OS.

Just a few thoughts off the ol' head top....
1. Check the setting and location for the working folder...usually on the
clients C: drive in epicor/mfgwrk61 . Also permissions etc.. on this folder
2. If you have not been uninstalling progress before each re-install try
that next time
3. Double check mapped drive lettering...expecially to be sure same drive
letter is used for the Epicor folder on the server where mfgsys61 and
prgs91d folders are located.
4. Possible that this may require regedit manual registry removal of all
references to Progress Software, PSC and related file extensions before
re-isntalling Progress

There is one computer here I am installing Vantage 6.10 on. When it
gets to the installation part for progress it gives an error message
there is no disk. It still installs and works but quits working every
other day. I have to reinstall vantage and progress again (again
getting the no disk error) to get it to work. Vantage will work for a
few more days on that computer then quit again. I don't have this
problem elsewhere. I checked the network drives and they are
connected and I have tried restarting the computer, but the only thing
that works is re-installing vantage. What can this be?
