Vantage session via the Internet?

I use both the NFuse option Britt described and the following for roughly 10
Project Engineers and Management staff to remotely access Vantage from
various locations...

They establish a local connection (dialup or LAN/WAN depending on where
they're at) to the internet.

1. local connect to internet
2. ssh (secure shell) connect to host & IP Port forwarding to a Terminal
Server port or Citrix i.e. 1494
3. TSE or Citrix default server location is set to 127.0.0.1 (localhost)

Works beautifully!

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage session via the Internet?

Hey y'all ...

Does anyone have experience in enabling a
user to establish and run a Vantage session
via the Internet?

We will be running 5.10.104 under Windows 2000 Server ...

Thanks,

Mike

You can use Windows Terminal Services for that. What version of Windows is
the client running?

You can with Citrix. You can embed a Citrix session within a web page,
which requires no software loaded on the remote computer except a small
plug-in for your browser.
