Vantage 8.03.407a Progress
This one has me stumped, so I thought I would post it here to see if anyone has any idea on what's going on.
We have an old HP 1000 laser printer connected via USB. A couple of people need to print to it and since its\'s not a network printer, I just share it off the computer. We had no problems with it until I replace the computer that it was connected to with a brand new Dell. Everyone could still print to it, but the computer that was physically connected to it could not print checks.
The really weird thing is that we have two different check forms for two different bank accounts. The only thing I know that is different between the two crystal forms is the name it prints on the check. The new computer can print checks for one account but not the other. When it prints checks for this one account, absolutely nothing happens except for the fact that Vantage now things it has printed a check.
Just today I replace another computer with a new Dell, and the exact same thing is happening on it to the same printer. So now I know it's not a problem with printing across the network versus printing directly. I'm starting to suspect the print driver. But why would if have problems with just the check printing and why only with this one Crystal report?
