6.1 Printing Error 534

Thanks Rich - that is what I had to do, I just don't know what happened, as I hadn't modified that form recently and the fact that it always worked on 1 PC, really threw me off.
Sure appreciate yours and the other responses.

I have had this on a couple of occasions and all I have to do is open the report with Crystal and Verify the Database.

Thanks,

Subject: [Vantage] 6.1 Printing Error 534

Hi Group:
Wondering if anyone ever discovered how to correct this 534 error when trying to print or do a print preview. I looked back through the messages, and found mention of it, but not a solution and I can't seem to figure it out. This error comes up when trying to print or preview A/R invoices - except for 1 PC (luckily). I can't find out why. I thought it possibly was Crystal, but I just installed Vantage on a new PC - without Crystal, and I still get the error. The other weird part is that occassionally I will be able to pull up an invoice that will print. I can find no connection between the ones that will and the ones that won't (compared Customer, # of lines, etc). I've tried matching the screen settings, the font settings, etc. The PC's are all at WIN XP, Service Pack2. I know it's not a user thing - and I guess I eliminated the Crystal issue, so it must be the PC - but what else should I check or change?

Any advice would sure be appreciated!

Julie,

The error refers to a problem with connection to the data, in this
case the DBF's that Vantage creates when you are printing the form.

If you have support, there are some documents out on Epic Web
describing some possible causes. Just search for 534.
