You can add the cost of your tooling to the job without using an
existing part, without creating a purchasing suggestion, without
having to receive apart and without having to issue a part by
flagging it as a miscellaneous part. To do this, go to your job in
Job
Entry, go to the material pull down menu and go to add. A new
Material
Maintenance screen will appear -- make up a part number and
description, then check off the Miscellaneous Charge box, then select
a miscellaneous charge category and type in the cost. Hit OK, and you
will see the Misc charge appear as an issued material in your job.
Good Luck,
