How can i get the approval person name to show up on this BAQ? Thanks!
have you looked at the field help for the drop down? Also, it’s usually a good hint if you right click on the field and see what open with gives you. It will probably lead you to the table that you need to link to in order to get the information.
My guess is that the BAQ shows the Buyer ID for the Approver.
So you need to connect another Buyer table to the first, linking the buyer ID of the second to the Approver of the first.
EDIT: And if its not from the Buyer table, its from the Person table.

Yes, that is what i did originally.
I am connected to the buyer ID table. That approval person number in the screenshot does not match up to any person IDs.
Does it match up with other buyer ID? Looks like you may have to join the table to itself. (you can bring it in twice). 2010 has an approval of 2 which is tim. Lines up with your first screen shot.

Is your BAQ linking to POapvMsg?
