AR Invoice group stuck in posting status

AR invoice group is showing as ‘Posting’ when I open it up. Nothing in the Review Journal though. And when I query InvcGrp the PostingPinProcess field is false.

I don’t know where the locked field is (InvcGrp or InvcHead?) in either case, I checked both and don’t see that field to try to unlock it using an updateable BAQ.

Running 10.0.700.4, I don’t see Epicor Admin Tools on the server, so I don’t think it was installed, so I don’t think I can run conversion 10250 without the admin tools.

Anything else I can do to fix?

There’s no admin tools in 10 open the conversion workbench and look there.
Also.look in review joirnal

Nothing in the Review Journal.

I looked in the workbench, didn’t see conversion 10250 in there.

Whats the difference between Conversion Workbench and Data Fix Workbench?

Are data conversions basically “fixes” to well know issues that occur, so they are built-in to E10?

While Data Fixes are one-off’s, provided by support, that are potentially customer specific?

Should Conversion Work Bench be run routinely as preventative maintenance? Or is that a really, really bad idea?

I belong to the church of “If it ain’t broke …”

@josecgomez, thanks, ended it being conversion 1190 that I need to run. Did the trick.

@ckrusen, yes, that’s how I understand the difference between the two as well. I have seen posts on here that say certain conversions are run routinely for maintenance. I personally don’t do that though.

“Conversion Workbench” is the E10 adaptation of what we had to run from the Admin Tools back in V8-E9 days.

“Data Fix Workbench” is when Epicor Support sends out a one-off(-ish) fix, so instead of trying to remember what all one-offs have been applied, they’re in a single place nicely labeled and manageable.

How 21st century!
