Has anyone been successful in printing badges from Vantage with pictures
on them. We are on Version 6 529. We have the photos setup and they
display on the data collection screens and in Employee MFM.

How do you modify the crystal form so it pulls from the folder ?

Cliff,
This is possible I believe in Crystal 10, but with the old version, I
believe you either have to use RB (can't remember for sure if it's possible)
or an external label application.
I print mine using Wasp Labeler.

Cliff, this is what I did using Crystal 8.5, if you have MS Access,
create a simple 2 column table using the EMPID as the index and for the
second field insert your BMP images (I think crystal only works with BMP
not sure though). Try to keep the images all the same size, like 150 x
150. Now save your file in the same directory as the badge report.



Now modify your badge.rpt to include an additional database which will
be the MS Access file you created. Link the tables using the EMPID
field. And Voila! You can insert your employee photos as a BLOB field
into the report.
