Change Log on Customer Part X Ref table

OK So i have managed to create change logs on other table using a Data Directive BUT when i try and do one on the Customer Part X Ref table, i do not see the option to create a change log :thinking:

Am i going mad? I only want to track if the Customer Part Number and Revision is changed.

There is a (horrible) way. Search this forum for “missing change log”. They’re not available on all tables.

That being said, I’ve sometimes found other ways to track changes by choosing related tables instead. However, in some cases I’ve had to do the (horrible) thing you’ll find by searching and then use a BAQ report to see the changes.

I have gone through the horrid way and for the life of me it will not work. Seems that when i change is made to the table it is not writing it to the ChgLog table in the DB :man_facepalming:t2:

Sorry, been busy. Stories for the grandkids.

(just described order processing from fax machine through 7-part carbon form through MRP binder / whiteboard through invoice, to my kids - nightmares for weeksđŸ˜±)
