We are in the process of testing V8. We're on 6.1.536 and our db is arounf 7 gig. We have converted our data form 61 to v8 and have notice a few issues witht eh conversions.
Some of the problem we have are
1, After the conversion our Labor and burden rate are not set up properly in the resource groups and resource. I know that Epicor has change the logist of those rate for V8 but I still have isuue handling that during the conversion.
2, When login into MES as a shop employee. I cannot log in a "Shop Employee" unless I go to the Shop employee maintenance file and delete User ID form <blank> to Null.
3, We cannot Drag and drop some operation on a jobs in the scheduling board. On convertes jobs only not new jobs created after the conversions.
4, How did you handle the reports? I am hoping on using the BAQ and Dashboard for most of the reports
5, Did anyone have issues with Security?
I would like to hear from anyone who has done a conversions form 61 to v8.
It seem like this is going to be a big project and we would like to cover as much as possible be we jump into it.
