Custom Crystal Report in V8.03.407

Brian, can I ask how you use the Logicity viewer for Vantage reports
instead of Crystal? The Crystal viewer is integrated with Vantage -
I don't know if I could get my users to use an alternate if it
require extra steps.

What version did you upgrade from?

You have to save the report with no data check box unchecked in the report
to get the prompts to come up in the run time.

8.03.403d. The support expert says some data may changed. I
thought the only time the table definitions changed was with a schema
change, which would have been when the patch went form 8.03.4xx to
8.03.5xx
There is a known issue with prompts but I don't think this is your problem
look at the post just before you made this one I think that person may be
right.

I have had similar issues with Custom Crystal Reports in Vantage. The
CR viewer in Vantage doesn't handle subreports very well, and you'll get
different results in the Vantage CR runtime than you will in the Crystal
runtime.

There is not much support from vantage on these issue and you can not get to
the knowledge base now the SAP has purchased Business objects. One thing
that I have found that fixes some of the problems is modify the report to
remove the printer (No printer Optimized for screen display).

You may want to try un-installing all crystal runtime versions, and
then install only the latest version and see if that helps.
