We use it frequently also. Since 6.1, my copy always has an expiration
date
and I have to request a new one about each month. Support advised me
it was
standard practice so they did not get outdated. It is a hassle to
remember
to request a new one each month, but when you need it you do have time
to
wait. Is everyone seeing an expiration date - or am I the only
"standard
practice" ??

You are correct. It is called endact.r, but you must specify what
version
of Vantage you are on. And everytime you upgrade you will need a new
version of endact.

Folks:

Has anyone else experienced data collection terminals either locking
up or displaying error messages? Our data collection stations are low
end PCs running W98. Some are wired, others are wireless. When a
station errors out, it also tends to "lock" an employee into a
transaction with no way to end activity on it. We have to go in as an
administrator and run the endact.r program to get them out of the
transaction so that they can clock out for the day.

Anyone else suffering from this? If so, have you found a solution? Is
the solution upgrading the stations to faster PCs and XP?

Any help is appreciated.
