Default BAQ Query Parameters in a SSRS Report

Hey All! Long time lurker. I’ve got a client that has a BAQ they use and would like to schedule out on a weekly basis. However, there are a few Default Values that would need to be supplied by the SSRS report to the BAQ to get it the correct information out. Year, Month, Date etc.

What do you think? And thanks for all the help on this forum!

Possible that BAQ criteria be calculated “on the fly” from the current date when run, instead of using parameters? Or is something more complicated going on?

It is possible. It is all based on today’s date. Not looking to query financials for the current month or anything fancy.

Then if your lucky, may not be too involved, something like this?
Remove the existing parameters and add calculated selection criteria to the BAQ - based off of “Today”, (or new copies of the BAQ/SSRS for the “scheduled” version).
Then submit the recurring report schedule with a run date that will match “Today” in your BAQ?

@bordway Thanks for the direction! I was just thinking too hard about this. Ended up just using datepart etc in the Calculated fields.
