Our bank _gave_ us software that converts the ascii output of
Vantage into the NACHA format and uploads it to the bank.
Even if Vantage created NACHA directly we still needed their
software to connect so the it really didn't matter that
Vantage doesn't create NACHA. Talk to your bank.

I had to export a file into Excel and then import it into the bank's
software program. Work's great. As far as sending it directly to the bank
from Vantage... I think it would be more trouble than it is worth.

We are in the process of going to direct deposit. We are wondering about
the NACHA file that is needed to have direct deposit. If anyone could give
us their input and how this has worked for them it would be appreciated.

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files,

What version of Vantage are you referring to?

Justin,

For unknown reasons, Vantage does not export using the NACHA
format. However if your bank provides you with PC/Clear or
similar, you don't need to worry about NACHA as you can map
fields before transmitting the p/r files to your bank.

Vantage's output format comma-delimited ASCII, each record
on it's own line. The field layout is:

Transaction Number,
encrypted information,
Deduction ID code,
unknown code,
Check Group ID,
Employee ID,
SS #,
First,
Middle,
Last,
Amount of Check,
Check Date,
Bank ID,
Routing Number,
Check Digit,
ID number from Bank Account,
Bank Name,
Service Code,
Entry Class

Paul,

We're exporting from 4.0, however if I recall the export field
layout is the same in 3.0.

have fun,
John
