We are currently in the process of moving from a different ERP system to Epicor. We are using DMT to move our data over and for our suppliers we use a UD field in our current ERP software that we need to also create and use in Epicor. We would like to use DMT to update our supplier records with this UD field but noticed no UD fields exist in the supplier template. How do we add the ud field to our supplier records and update the field via DMT with our data?

When I load the Supplier template builder my UD fields are listed.
Have you already verified the UD field(s) exist and the table is synced (regenerated the DataModel). Maybe a version of your database was restored where the UD fields weren’t added yet?
If the UD fields are verified, I wonder what version of DMT you’re running?
Or what happens if you just manually add a column for your UD field in your template & then try verify/upload?
you SHOULD be able to add a column to your template with the new column name… remember in E10, if you create your own UDField, then the name ends with _c… but if you upgraded from an older version, the system checks your database, and if all the old style UD FIields have no content, then the system doesn’t bring those fields over (reducing the DB size because of unused fields).
@SpeedOfLight - Once you’ve created the UD Field in Epicor and regenerated the data model, it should appear in DMT as well. Typically they’re at the bottom of the list when you click on the Template view.
yea this is what I was thinking also. I will go this route and post everyone of my results. Thanks for all of the feedback.
