E9: Fulfillment WorkBench - How to get material to a job after a

Joe,

we are having the same issue , but during the packout level.Ive heard that the material issue is also giving them that issue but havent gone into detail on that one. If you havent completed the job probably the allocations arent deleted. So probably it will show you that you have On hand more than what you really have in some bins. It is being a big problem for us since we have to transfer and adjust the qties manually to make sure we have sufficient qty to release. ( this in our packout process , i assume it might be similar in the material release process)

If you have a chance we could discuss this..

Hi All,

I found what I believe to be a bug when allocating material to a job
using the fulfillment workbench.

If I allocate two lots to one job material line that when I finally
issue the material to the job, only one allocation is "consumed".

When I pointed it out to Epicor, they stated that the Fulfillment
Workbench was not intended to be used with the Issue Material screen. In
order words, you either use the Fulfillment Workbench or Issue Material
but not together.

I went back and asked them, if that's true, how do I "issue" material to
a job in order to relieve inventory for material that I allocated.

The response I got was that a Move Queue record is created and someone
logs in to move the material to the resource group.

I still don't see how that puts the material on the job.

Is anyone else using the fulfillment workbench to allocate material? If
yes, how do you relieve inventory for something that is allocated?
