Hi All,
I've been working on a BPM that will automatically pull the information
for material allocated to a job when issuing that material to the job.
So far, everything is going great but I noticed something odd when
viewing the PartAlloc table that is causing a snag in my BPM.
I used the Fulfillment Workbench to allocated material to a Job. I did
an allocation by Lot/Bin. I allocated two different lots to the same
material sequence.
I created a BAQ to look at the table PartAlloc and I saw the allocations
that I did with the Fulfillment Workbench. So far so good.
I then went to "Issue Material" to issue the material that I just
allocated. When I issued the first lot, I saw in my BAQ that the
Allocated Qty went down to zero, as expected. I then proceeded to issue
the second lot that I had allocated, but when I did, I noticed that the
quantity allocated in PartAlloc did not change.
Additionally, if I try to issue material to the second lot number first,
the allocated quantity is reduced for the first lot number.
This seems like it will cause us an issue when we trying to accurately
manage our inventory by using the fulfillment workbench...or...it could
be that I am doing something wrong.
Anyone else run across this or any ideas?
