Frideas! 25 October 2024

Thank you for saying this. I’ve sat down on multiple occasions ready to write that idea and didn’t follow through because I figured it would get a bunch of :poop:

I don’t know. There are several fantastic Epicor employees on this site and I think they genuinely do hear us and listen… and maybe if we keep tagging them on posts like this it will move the needle… @timshuwy @Rich @Olga @Epic_Santiago @JeffLeBert @aidacra @bconner

One thing they might not be fully understanding is that folks like us (the ERP admins, etc.) are playing a big role in deciding when our companies move from classic to browser. We are not won over by things like the Explorer View (which is great, don’t get me wrong). We are won over by system stability, an Edge Agent that works, and being able to make a simple customization where the grid column order and widths actually stick.

We see our comrades like @aosemwengie1 posting their daily struggles and infuriating experiences with Support.

We see @hmwillett creating thousands of pages of content because we can’t figure out how to do anything in Application Studio
Kinetic Control Compendium - Experts’ Corner - Epicor User Help Forum

And we say, “wow I can’t let my job / life turn into that.” Or, “do I even have the IT staff to handle a doubling or tripling of Epicor tickets?”. Better give my CEO the same response I gave last year… “browser is not ready for primetime”. Focus on fixing the bugs and you will win us over.
