I need to increase server 2003 drive size

I'd second that the partition layout doesn't make much sense.
But like they said, you should be able to just move everything over as long
as you have the same drive letter in the end.
Personally, if it was my box, I would just load the new drives, scrap all
the partitions, make a raid 10 out of all 4 drives and rebuild the server.
It's a bit more work, but the overall time to get the server back online
should be about the same and you'd have a more 'standard' configuration,
better fault tolerance and much better IO performance.

Hi everyone, I have a mirrored container divided into a C & D partition with vantage installed on D. I'm running out of space on the C (operating system) part of the drive.I want to install a new mirrored container to move D (vantage partation)to.Is there anything special I need to do to be certain vantage will operate on the new mirrored container. Can I just shut down the data base and copy everything in D to the new container, deleat the old D and rename the new drives D. Any tips, or potentinal probems I could avoid Would be greatly appricated. Thanks
I have used a product called Paragon Partition Manager successfully on Windows 2003 servers in Mirrored and Raid setups. It allows you to reasign partion allocations allong with deleting and adding partitions on the fly. Just back up everything before you use it. Even with the best software, doing this can be dangerous.

Just make sure everything is shutdown before you make the copy, but there
shouldn't be any reason why this won't work.

However, I am not sure who did your initial installation, but installing on
that type of drive layout shouldn't have been done in the first place.
