I have just configured Information Worker (IW) client for outlook and imported sales order but cannot edit the details. Is it possible to make changes in sales order through outlook so that it updates in Epicor Application as well? I have gone through IW Configuration manager, but “Can Update Items”, “Can Add Items” checkbox are disabled. Any solution??

I’m not having the best of luck getting IW fully working, however this is my understanding:
I think you can only update update appointments, tasks, crm calls and contacts directly in Outlook, and those changes will sync to your ERP application.
For changes to sales orders, you can sync sales orders to IW, but to make any changes you can only launch the sales order from outlook and then edit it in the ERP form which opens, and then sync your ERP and outlook for the change to flush through. You can’t edit the sales order change directly in outlook as you can with contacts details. But you can use outlook to quickly launch an opening to the erp sales order form. Hope that makes sense?

I got your point… So now i would like to know how to open a form though link… I know how to send mails for approval through BPM, but i have no idea about sending a form link. Could you help me with that?
