If they don’t have insurance my guess is they’ll wait for Nashville to pull the plug… and even if they do have insurance there’s a lot of conditions on those… so it may be a bit

Yeah, and the 1% can be a little misleading too.
1% of what, the entire worlds population of 7,000,000,000+?
Since there is no natural immunity or vaccines available yet… could be why it’s spreading fast, feels like uncharted territory.
It does say “Case fatality rate” in “fine print”. So I’d assume the % of people that contract the disease.

Yeah, percentages are a pet peeve of mine, especially when used by government officials, news orgs, etc…
Intentional or not, they often introduce more of a slant than any clarity.

Well, the Department of Health and Human Services got Cyber attacked so maybe that is why you aren’t seeing things correctly?

The worst is when the talk about changes of percentages. Like if the hotel tax goes from 1% to 2%, they say “it went up 1 %”. I say it went up 100%.
