I have never seen this before. We can firm jobs fine but this job we can’t. When we check the firm box we get this message.
It has to do with this field. The mode needs to be sequential. For some reason, sometimes it doesn’t populate it when the job is created and you can’t change it if you don’t have APL.
It’s set on the part here. We had some that were blank for some reason. We fixed all of them that were blank and it pretty much eliminated our problems on the jobs.
To fix that job, you can use a UBaq to get is set to set the field to S. I attached the one that I use when the problem comes up.

Thanks. Checked our system and the BOM was missing the concurrency setting too. I tested by making a new Rev and it auto populated. I wonder why some Revs are missing this when it is created. Maybe legacy issues carried over. I updated this on the BOM and then the Part Rev did update too. When i created a new job it pulled in the field.
I wonder if i need to be updating the Part Rev table so when new jobs get created it will populate properly?

I never figured out why it was happening. I was about to say that it doesn’t happen to use anymore and I’m not sure why, but the I checked and it’s because I put a BPM in place to make sure it’s set correctly whenever a new rev is created/updated.

An since I can’t recreate it opening a ticket with Epicor won’t help too much. Thanks.
