Job Tracker access through Data Collection

Actually, it went away in 4.0. At which time we had to audit our licenses
and found we had three less office users than we thought.

I don't believe 3.0 restricted the Data Collection Licenses like 5.0 does.
Having a Data Collection License in 3.0 is just like having an extra Full
license. This goes away in 5.0.

While we are still on 3.0, I believe that Epicor customer service told
our report builder person that she could add any of the standard or
custom reports to the reports menu on data collection. She did this and
we get shop tracker, job tracker and a special report on the data
collection license.

license. Epicor choose to change this to just the job tracker
access with

locations of parts using part tracker verses having to come into
the office
to ask so this wasn't received very well. There has been

list as to whether that was a good decision are not ;-)

Doesn't it just allow you access to that particular job/part and not allow
you to search for different inventoried items? If not how and where do I
get to it! I need it for pulling orders for shipment.

You can choose a job and look a job tracker and then you can go into the
part tracker of the Top Assembly, subassemblies, or the BOM items for that
particular job. It does not sound like this is what you were looking
for...is it?

There are a few trackers available in 5.0 with the Data Collection License. These can, of course, be turned off in the Security Configuration.
