May be a simple question but I have a JobMtl table for PartNum 123 Rev A, can I create a PartMtl table from it. I think the manually built the jobmtl or used configurator and now I want to make it a master bom for the part
If I understand your question correctly, you have a part where you manually created a method on a job to make it, and now want that to be the standard method for that part rev?
If so, check out the part rev in Engineering Workbench and do Actions, select Revision > Get Details > Get from Methods/Jobs/Quotes, and get the details from that job, then approve and check in the part rev.

Like @jgreenaway says… but you MIGHT (Not sure) need to click the checkbox on the job that specifies that the job is a “Template” job before you can get details from it.

I think I can confirm it does not need template checked - we bring in this way often and our own “scrap” that was added onto the job as a material is forgotten when bringing it into the method. We’re “scrapping” our “scrap” to use the built in when possible because of that.
