Long story but often missed by Epicor SGM BAQs, lets just say I spent 3 months in the SGM BAQ solving for Exchange Rates and everything under the sun.

Sales Data BAQ

It actually does… the SGM is a bit incorrect. If I sum up all the Costs… I get 534.62, only the Grand Total’s have the proper logic and show 305.34 (which excludes the KitFlag C), however the line level details have the wrong costs. Showing Labor Grand Total vs Summing Labor [image] so one can’t use it in Excel and assume a SUM will give you right data… SGM .rdl needs more expressions Every BAQ Epicor provides, including the EDD one is wrong too.

Anyone Have Sales Gross Margin Dashboard?

The Epicor Sales Gross Margin Report and the Homepage Query have flaws. I spent a solid 1 month trying to balance the BAQ out to the Sales Journal, SGM Report, Trial Balance, Chart Tracker etc… I can’t recall all the flaws but what I learned is that on an Invoice all things go into “seperate journals” or “GL Accts” and the SGM Report out of the box will exclude numbers and throw you off. For example: Discounts go into a seperate bucket Credit Memos Deferred Revenue Misc Charges Taxes Adv Les…

But AI should be able to take me to new heights in minutes, not months.
