Now that we’re nearing the end of our user migration to Kinetic, I’ve had a few people call out the lack of the grouping feature on grids. In particular, our purchasing manager was disappointed he can no longer group by Buyer or Supplier in PO Suggestions. The “Toggle Grouping” option is unavailable in the grid’s overflow menu, whereas on some other grids, it’s available.
Thanks! I feel a bit silly now, although now that we’ve played around with groups in PO Suggestions, the grid definitely does not like manipulating rows in that view. For instance, checking suggestions will randomly cause all groups to expand, or the grid to scroll to another location, or a ghost entry of the selected entry to appear below it. We ended up turning off groups for the time being for this person’s workflow, using sorting to accomplish a similar goal instead.
