Yeah. My dad always talked about the guy who kept hitting himself in the head with a hammer, because it felt so good when he stopped.

Hi,

I’m trying to use this tools on both Chrome 131.0.6778.140 and Edge 131.0.2903.99, but can’t make it work at all (No Windows popup after enable Trace). I just found that both Chrome and Edge mention polyfills.26b5daeb25c91dc4.js:17 is deprecated feature, which I think this is part of Kinetic UX Trace Utility core programing.

Is there any resolution for this error or which Chrome version is compatible with this tools?

Thanks.,

Best Regards.,
Sungsit

Update: Seems like a deprecated feature that I suspect is not the problem. I try to run tools on another machine which has the same Chrome build 131.0.6778.140 and some machine does work (but not all) even though it has the same warning about polyfills.26b5daeb25c91dc4.js:17 deprecated feature.

Still have no clue about this problem.

Thanks.,
Sungsit

I run it on the latest chrome no issue, are you seeing any errors anywhere? not the panel must be attached for it to work correctly wo’nt work if the panel is popped out.

Thanks josecgomez,

I did resolved it. The problem is related to the width of Extension UI. If it’s too narrow it will not work. Problem and Resolution can be reproduce with this steps:

Open Kinetic on Chrome browser then hit F12, by default Kinetic Trace Utility should show up on the right part of browser.

Case 1. - If width of this UI is too narrow, you will see the large Gear on the most right which has “Enable Trace Logging” check box inside. No matter how you try to enable it, this case will not work!

Case 2. - If you drag this windows too be wider enough, the “Enable Trace Logging” check box will move to top menu instead. If it display like this, the tools will work!

Notes: That’s mean, who ever display Developer Tools on Bottom will always work.

Too Narrow UI, Not working!

Not work :frowning:

What you looking for? Did you install the extension?

Yes, I never get a popup, nothing happens.
It’s attached, and I’m full screen.
